Each room is comfortably furnished and includes dish TV, DVD player, overhead fans, roomy closets with ironing board, full-length mirrors, terry robes for a trip to the hot tub for star-gazing. Chat with my father, Knox, born and raised in Gardnerville -actually right next door - and hear about ranching in Carson Valley, the growth of Lake Tahoe (his family homesteaded at Lake Tahoe in the early 1900`s). Bring your horse and ride the 200 plus acres - the West Fork of the Carson River runs through it - or walk, bike, jog. Lots of birds and fresh air. .

Some rooms have use of kitchens, all have small fridge’s microwave and coffee pots with supplies and TV one channel. All have private shower baths, and rooms are clean. The InnKeeper is located in the heart of the historic district, and off street parking is provided at no charge. We can accommodate 8 people.

Its 15 units, including 3-2bedroom suites for families and friends, are all comfortably climate controlled and each has its own private bath. Rooms have queen size beds and are furnished with turn of the century antiques. The newly created Bell Tower Lakeview Suite is our premiere experience. A king sized four poster bed with pillow top mattress and fireplace sitting area all with views of the lake. Take your private oak staircase to the observation tower. The InnKeeper has a sauna and the largest hot tub in town. Each morning awaken to the aromas of a gourmet breakfast. Whether its hiking, fishing, boating, cross-country or downhill skiing, whatever the season, we have it all.
